Valley Festival 2017

The Tarren team set off from Cheltenham once again. Heading south down the M5 we set up camp at on edge of the picturesque Chew Valley Lake, to take over full site operations of Valley Fest 2017.
At the end of July, Tarren arrived with our custom-built event office trailer to begin work on the site management of this event. After many months of planning, meeting’s and working with suppliers and traders; we were finally on site to make these plans a reality. Heads down, all hands on deck, let the festival build begin.
Imagine, several empty fields your canvas, a festival village your art. We worked round the clock installing brand-new water systems complete with toilets and showers, electricity to power everything from the mainstage to the festoon lighting, fencing and scaffolding to keep our festival friends safe. All this before we’ve even started on the ‘pretty touches’ those floating flags, and festival visuals, we’re painting the picture, right?
Festival gates open, campsites filled, our work was not done yet! The team took to managing the bars across site, from local country pub, the Ring O’ Bells, to the Cider Truck which was the first port of call for many putters on arrival. To compliment the countryside theme of the festival, we decorated bars with barrels and festoon lighting to continue the rustic style of the event.
