After winning the contract at the end of the year, our role with Cheltenham Festivals began in earnest this spring when we managed the Technical Production of the Cheltenham Jazz Festival.
Known locally for the eye-catching Big Top which appears in Montpellier Gardens at the centre of the city, the festival offers a wide range of shows; from free pop-up events to large orchestral productions.
Using our in-house production team, we managed the external contractors for the project, from quoting through to delivery and oversaw the onsite operations. This included managing the site build with our team of specialist event crew.
Once the festival went live the Tarren team utilised their skills in other areas, including artist advancing and liaison, backline management and supervision of the onsite traders and caterers.
We’ll be back on site with Cheltenham Festivals later this year at the Science, Music & Literature events.
