The lineup for Cheltenham’s 70th Literature Festival has been revealed, with tickets available to the public in just a few days time. Once again, the event is being sponsored by The Times and The Sunday Times.
Over 800 speakers will be arriving in the town to take part in one of 500 events, commencing on Friday 4th October and concluding on Sunday 13th October. Those taking part include literary greats such as David Nicholls, Philippa Gregory and Malorie Blackman. Other talent from the entertainment world includes Debbie Harry, Louis Theroux, Helena Bonham Carter and Dermot O’Leary.
Events taking place around the town include late night conversation at the Festival Club held at Hotel Du Vin, and the annual Lit Crawl which takes place in various venues around Cheltenham.
This year Sky Arts will be broadcasting live from the festival, bringing news and coverage from the famous event into the homes of those outside of Cheltenham each evening between 7pm and 1-pm on their channel.
As in previous years, Tarren Production Ltd will be working alongside Cheltenham Festivals to provide full festival production for the event, and has already set to work on securing the very best contractors and suppliers to bring this festival to life, along with designing many new and exciting elements of the site.
The full lineup of this year’s festival can be found on Cheltenham Festivals’ website.
