ROLE:- Stewards - (volunteers)

DATES:- Various 31st August - 5th September 2011

RATE:- £0

NOTES:- You must be prepared to work a 5 hour shift for each day on site. All other times you are free to enjoy the festival.

RESPONSIBILITIES:- To be a part of the 400 strong family of stewards at the Festival, working in areas such as: Box office, Garden Stage, Bigtop, Gates, Wristband Exchange, Traffic Control, & Village.

END OF THE ROAD FESTIVAL 2011

ROLE:- Stage Crew - (volunteers)

DATES:- 1st - 4th September 2011

RATE:- £0 (£50 travel expenses covered)

NOTES:- We are looking for Four technical minded crew to work as stage crew. This is an unpaid role, but offers excellent experience for anyone on an events related degree or for anyone wanting to gain more events experience in the festival industry. Accommodation is camping and you be provided with 3 meals a day.

RESPONSIBILITIES:-

•Help Sound and Lighting contractors, unload trucks and set up on respective stages. (This is mainly on Thursday and Friday morning)

•Assist the stage managers in unloading artist equipment, getting it up ramps onto stages, and helping set up if needed.

•Move artist equipment to and from artist transport and stages.

•Assist stage managers in complicated band change over’s in small time frames.

•Help sound and lighting companies, de-rig post show on the Sunday (note this will take several hours, so you will be expected to help out until the small hours of the morning, live music finishes at 11pm and 2am)

•Any other duties as required by the Production Manager, Site Managers or Stage Managers
